About Sheikh Zayed Rd
Sheikh Zayed Road (SZR) is known as one of the main highways in Dubai and the road that connects the seven emirates. SZR is not only Dubai's busiest route, but it also features a lot of high-rise structures with serviced hotel flats and residences. The region is consistently busy and well-liked by working professionals as a result of its close proximity to numerous corporate centres.
Sheikh Zayed Road was first built in 1971, making it the longest road in the United Arab Emirates. 1980 saw the completion of the highway. His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the UAE at the time, is honoured by having the route bear his name. At the border between Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, the SZR begins as the Abu Dhabi-Ghweifat International Highway and concludes as the Al Manama-Ras Al Khaimah Road.
SZR runs in Dubai from the junction near Oud Metha to Jebel Ali, which is close to the border between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Along with the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Dubai World Trade Center, Emirates Towers, and many more famous buildings, it passes through the centre of the emirate. Sheikh Zayed Road is thought to be made up of the structures that line the route from the Trade Center neighbourhood to Business Bay. In addition to providing a high standard of life, these towers also provide a wealth of opulent amenities close by. On the same street as the famous Maze Tower is the Ghaya Residence.
