About Margham

Margham is an oil and gas field in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the largest onshore gas field in the emirate. The Dubai Supply Authority, or Dusup, oversees the field. In 2010, the production of condensate averaged 25,000 barrels per day. Additionally, it has the ability to produce oil.

Three significant gas-bearing formations at Margham, which are up to 10,000 feet below sea level, were used to start production there in 1984. The gas condensate from the field is transported via pipeline to Jebel Ali, where it is loaded into tankers for export. With use rising since 2015, dry gas is now transported through pipelines to power the Dubai grid.
