The architectural design of the façade is fitted in a greater award-focused view of Aljada - is clear and convincing. Constructions are built using modern vocabulary balancing the shape of a structure and the size of the fronts, painted using rhythms, depth and contrast of material used to form elevations that vary in character with the movement of the sun. Context is evidently respected, as well: the masterplan uses the heritage quarters of Sharjah, re-conceptualizing the traditional spatial concepts to fit a modern audience in such a way that the new development would be both novel and familiar. The terraces and winter gardens soften vertical lines, and the located glazing encourages the daylight into the living space, without compromising the privacy. The outcome is a sophisticated suburban profile that is dynamically aggressive and friendly.

Leisure is a part of the Aljada broad experience; where pedestrian spaces and attractions can be found in a short distance. The main outdoor sports complex that is located next to the development, a full-size football pitch and a range of badminton, volleyball and padel courts, serves the advantage of the family and active residents, and the retail and dining facilities of West Boulevard directly create an extension of the living room of the resident. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Madar at Aljada purifies the leisure offer even further: a family entertainment zone that features a food market, a trampoline park, and skate park as well as some free drive in cinema.

The façade itself approaches health and wellbeing through the direct approach to fitness and recreational centres, parks and playgrounds that are landscaped and foster outdoor games and social integration. The city architecture is such that it intentionally intertwines green strips and walking avenues such that leisure is essence, being taking a stroll to the cafe, ball play in the park or an evening saunter along a green promontory. Such overlaying of the public, semi-public and personal spaces makes an active and healing assurance in the daily life of the people.
